2026 INAIR Call for Proposals

We are excited to invite you to submit a proposal for the 2026 Indiana Association for Institutional Research (INAIR) Conference, taking place at the Ivy Tech Downtown Muncie Campus on March 30 – 31, 2026. This year’s theme, “Muncie City Lights & Data Insights: Celebrating 40 Years of INAIR!” highlights the vibrant atmosphere of downtown Muncie, honors our host institution, Ivy Tech Community College – Muncie Campus, and commemorates the 40th anniversary of INAIR. The theme reflects both the energy of our gathering place and the enduring impact of institutional research across Indiana over the past four decades.

Conference Theme: Muncie City Lights & Data Insights!

Hosted at the Ivy Tech Muncie Campus, INAIR 2026 embraces the collaborative and determined spirit of Ivy Tech. This theme celebrates how Institutional Research professionals use data to drive student success and institutional improvement across Indiana and beyond. We invite proposals that highlight how IR fosters actionable insights, supports strategic decision-making, and promotes the ethical and effective use of data.

Proposal Topics

We encourage submissions on a broad range of topics, including but not limited to:

  • Innovations in data analysis and visualization
  • Ethical data practices in higher education
  • Strategic decision-making through IR insights
  • Supporting student success with data
  • Cross-departmental collaborations leveraging IR data

Submission Details

  • Proposal Deadline: January 5, 2026
  • Submission Format: Proposals should include a title, brief abstract (1000 characters max), narrative (4000 characters max), intended audience, and proposal type (session: presentation, panel, roundtable, or demonstration; training/workshop; or poster).
